This photograph of an unknown couple waving farewell outside a Chicago area Lutheran chuch is only imprinted on the back with the photographer’s information. It was taken by Henry Jankowski, owner of Jan’s Photo Service located at 4645 South Keeler Avenue, Chicago.
The plaque on the church reads The Church of the Lutheran Hour.
Mr. Jankowski passed away in 1986. A later location of his business (5712 S. Pulaski Rd, Chicago) is still a photography studio today, although operating under a different name.
